Kristen Kristen Clements, M.P.H., is an epidemiologist with the
San Francisco Department of Public Health Epidemiology and
Evaluation Section and a Ph.D. candidate at the University of
California, Berkeley. Kristen employs participatory research methods
to conduct epidemiological and evaluation studies with hard-to-reach
populations such as homeless youth, the Transgender community, and
incarcerated individuals.
Carla Clynes, B.A., is a Health Worker III with the San Francisco
Department of Public Health Epidemiology and Evaluation Section.
Carla works on numerous research studies including the Transgender
Community Health Project, the Party & Play Study, and the
Prevention Case Management Study. Prior to her employment with the
Department of Public Health, Carla was a Health Educator for
Instituto Familiar de la Raza and was very active working with the
Latina Transgender Community.
